Replacing the Exterior Siding and Trim
Our first task was addressing the rotted exterior siding, a common issue in many exterior remodels in Collinsville. We replaced the old siding with 1×2 and 1×6 LP Smart siding and trim, using a board and batten design that added a classic, timeless look to the home. Additional exterior modifications included:
- Front Window Trim: Upgraded with 4×6 Cedar for a robust and natural finish.
- Garage Door Surround/Trim: Enhanced with 2x8x16 Rough Doug Fir, providing a rustic and sturdy frame.
