Project Overview
Scope of Work:
- Excavation, Preparation, and Concrete Pouring:
- We excavated, prepped, and poured a 10’x26′ concrete pad with a free-form design featuring a natural stone stamp texture.
- Specifications: 4000 psi concrete with 3/8″ rebar reinforcement.
- After removing the forms, we added dirt and a strip of Bermuda sod around the perimeter to seamlessly blend the new pad with the existing landscape.
- Pergola Construction:
- Installed an approximately 16’x8’x8′ pergola with a 3-tier design.
- Utilized (4) 6x6x8 posts with post brackets and picture frame feet for stability and aesthetic appeal.
- Constructed with 2×6 rafters set 16″ on center, 2×2 slats at 3″ centers, and 2×8 headers.
- Enhanced with black decorative brackets for a touch of elegance.
- The pergola was left in natural wood to blend harmoniously with the outdoor environment.
- Exterior Fascia Repairs:
- Replaced approximately 20 linear feet of rotted fascia trim on the outside of the garage with 1×4 Hardie trim.
- Painted the new trim to closely match the existing color, ensuring a seamless integration.
- Removed and reinstalled the gutter to accommodate the new fascia.
- Electrical Work:
- Ran an outlet to the soffit (GFCI) by the new pergola for added convenience and functionality.
