Continuing our series on this impressive full home remodel near Owasso, OK, we’re excited to share the transformation of the exterior space. After adding French doors from the living area to the backyard, we needed to create a welcoming outdoor area to match the beautiful interior.

Given that the house is on a slope, a deck was the perfect solution for providing a level, functional outdoor space. To keep costs manageable, we built the entire structure using treated lumber. - Deck and Front Door Stain: Oxford Brown to complement the newly painted exterior and add a rich, inviting touch.
Alternative Deck Product Options
While treated lumber was the choice for this project due to its cost-effectiveness and ability to be stained, there are several other decking materials available that can suit different needs and preferences. One popular alternative is composite decking, which is made from a mixture of wood fibers and plastic. Composite decking is known for its durability, low maintenance, and resistance to rot and insects. It comes in a variety of colors and textures, providing a high-end look without the upkeep required for wood.
