At Gorilla Brothers Renovations, we know that sometimes a kitchen doesn’t need a full overhaul to feel brand new. Recently, we completed a fantastic kitchen refresh for a home in Claremore, Oklahoma. By focusing on key updates like cabinetry, countertops, and backsplash, we were able to deliver a transformed, fresh look without a full remodel. Here’s a breakdown of the changes we made, along with some stunning before-and-after photos that showcase the difference!
Bringing a Fresh Look with a Kitchen Refresh
A kitchen update doesn’t always mean a massive renovation. In this Claremore project, we were able to keep most of the original layout while still creating a new, stylish look. A few cabinet modifications, fresh coats of paint, updated hardware, quartz countertops, and a gorgeous backsplash turned this kitchen into a fresh and inviting space.
Color Scheme Chosen by Homeowners:
- Walls: Nature’s Essentials 1521 (eggshell finish) for a soft, clean background.
- Cabinets: Buckland Blue HC-151, darkened to 50%, giving depth and style (satin finish).
- Trim and Ceiling: White OC-151 (satin for trim, eggshell for the ceiling) for a bright and polished touch.
These carefully chosen colors added character and depth, while the quartz countertops and backsplash tied everything together.
Featured Elements: The Sink and Countertop Area
One of our favorite parts of this project was the sink area. We installed a durable undermount composite sink paired with Luce Oro MetroQuartz countertops—a favorite for its sleek, durable surface. To complete the look, we added Emser Country Silver 2.5×8″ backsplash tiles. Combined with the Buckland Blue cabinetry and brushed gold/brass accents, this area became a true focal point in the kitchen, adding both functionality and beauty.
